The first few weeks of classes have gone by and I know what you’re thinking. “Dang, that was exhausting. I need a break. I need to get away for a little.” The first few weeks of college are filled with social interactions, adjustments to your newfound freedom, and coursework. What better way to take a break from most of that than by going on a retreat! Journey to Grace Bible Camp with us for a weekend retreat. Forge fellowship with other first years, get to know some of the upperclassmen, and most importantly encounter Christ with us. If talks about how to be a Catholic in a college environment, Mass, confession, Adoration, and copious amounts of bonding aren’t enough to convince you to come did we mention there will be free food? The retreat will be September 9th to September 11th and we hope to see you there!

More about Retreats:
Retreats are an opportunity for an individual to spend time in contemplation and prayer so that they can rekindle and deepen their relationship with God.  In addition, a spiritual retreat creates an atmosphere that allows students to leave behind the stresses and distractions of college, and embark on a series of both spiritual and social activities which bring the individual closer to fellow students and themselves, and ultimately, to God.

CSM offers a number of retreat experiences for students over the course of the academic year, including First Year Retreat, held during the first few weeks of classes, Fall and Spring retreats, held midway through each semester,  other themed retreats, and the Diocesan Encounter With Christ retreats.
