Catholic Student Ministry at UVA is a Christ-centered community of Catholic students at the University of Virginia. We seek to nurture our faith and transform our hearts through sacraments, prayer, religious education, and community. We challenge each other to lead by example with charity and joy, that all may know, love, and live the faith.

Catholic Student Ministry, also known as CSM, is both a Contracted Independent organization (CIO) affiliated with the University of Virginia, and a ministry of St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish.

The focus of the ministry is Christ and the student community at UVA. This focus is expressed through a wide range of activities and ministries which are free and open to all, including community social events, opportunities for various devotions and liturgies, justice and peace activities, lectures and other chances to grow in knowledge of the Faith, and many more opportunities to engage with other Catholic students at the University.

The organization is led by students and supported through the guidance of parish staff, including the Dominican Friars who serve the St. Thomas Aquinas community.
